There are so many jobs to arrange when you are moving house. It gives you the chance to have a good clear out and get rid of unwanted rubbish and unused things that you do not want to move to your new address. But, when it comes to tidying up it can take time. Going through the cupboards takes time, and often is a trip down memory lane!

Clearing clutter is refreshing and reduces the amount you need to move. This is good when it comes to arranging removal services! Make sure you start this job in advance as you need to dispose of your unwanted items. You can sell them using car boot or garage sales, local papers classified sections or list online on sites such as eBay. If you are feeling generous you could donate to local churches, schools and charities. Re salvaging old stuff is popular so your old items will help others on a budget or who like older things.

Start packing

Protect fragile things with bubble wrap or polystyrene balls, seal and secure.
