Before accepting our quotes please read the Terms & Conditions of services detailed below to avoid confusion and to ensure a timely swift and hassle-free service for all involved: 1. We need to know from you beforehand: - Full list of your items; - Weight and sizes of all your items; - Time and date when you would be done this move; - If any special condition ( no parking available, long distance from the accessible road – more of 20 yards/18 metres, stairs, narrow or restricted access, etc.) - If car, we need to know if is lowered, if any flat tyre, if any side or bumper skirt on or any another car mod or defect that can affect the loading /unloading. 2. Will completed our orders within 10 working days from acceptance of quote. The majority of our orders are completed within 4-5 days. 3. If any of your address (collection or delivery) is an auction house, warehouse, shop or there is any another time restriction we will need to be made aware of this before acceptance of our quote. Please send us a message with details including opening and closing times 4. All our vans are driven by professional drivers and equipped with blankets, straps [belts] and trolley. Our quotes are based on items that require one person to lift/carry, are collected and delivered on the ground floor, is not far of 20 yards of the van, there is not stairs ( inside or outside ). Also, please inform us in a message if there will be or not someone available to help load/unload items or if there is lift access to floors other than ground. Any items found to require more than one-person lift/carry, items that are not being moved from ground floor to ground floor, items not specified on the inventory list, will incur an extra charge or may not be collected/delivered at the discretion of our driver. 5. We will provide you with a 3-hour collection/delivery window and our driver will give you notice 30-45 minutes before arriving for pickup/delivery. However, we ask for patience in this matter, due to the nature of the job things are constantly changing. We receive new jobs daily as well as having users back-out at the very last minute. In order to provide you with the most accurate delivery/collection window we will be in touch the day before scheduled collection/delivery. We can only do this however, if contact details are up to date. If inaccurate contact details are held or no one is present to hand-over/receive an item after a delivery window has been provided, we will only attempt to re-collect/deliver the item where the initial fee plus a re-delivery/collection fee is paid in advance of services. 6. On acceptance of our quote it is the responsibility of the person booking our service to ensure that all collection, delivery and contact details for all parties involved are present and correct on GetVan. We request that all details are up to date and accurate and appear on the listing at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection/delivery. We reserve the right to postpone/cancel any agreed collections/deliveries where the contact details are inaccurate/incomplete 48 hours prior to scheduled collection/delivery dates. 7. Payment is the responsibility of the person booking our service. We accept payment by bank transfer or cash. We accept payment in advance and will also accept payment on collection or delivery. The very latest that payment can be made is on delivery of items. No items will be left without prior payment being made be that in advance or at the doorstep. We reserve the right to seize any items where service has not been paid for in advance/on delivery. We will only attempt to re-deliver a seized item where the initial fee and a re-delivery fee is paid in advance. 8. Packing of items for being transported is customer responsibility. We offering packing service if requested beforehand but this will incur an extra charge of the initial quote. 9. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF COMPLETING A JOB if any of the above terms and conditions are missing, are inaccurate, or do not comply with any of the above.
